Ford Sierra 2.0 budget drift car
As a budget drift build feature for Fast Ford magazine, and to provide Ade with something to to learn in while his Capri undergoes it's transformation, the red Sierra you see below was created from a standard 2.0 DOHC in under 24 hours!
The car is now ideal as a starter car for beginner drifters; if you can drift a base spec sierra you can drift just about anything!
Work completed in the build marathon included:
- Koni adjustable dampers with lowering springs
- 4x4 Cosworth front hubs with 2WD anti roll bar for increased castor
- 4x4 Cosworth front calipers with drilled/grooved discs
- Custom steering rack rod ends
- Chizfab straight through exhaust
- Welded diff
- Bucket seat
- Semi-stripped interior
- 8J Weller steel wheels
- Cosworth front bumper, side skirts and bonnet
- Fresh paint from Toole Design
